| What
is Document Image Processing?
Document Image Processing (DIP) is the process of scanning,
indexing and digitally storing documents. These documents
can then be retrieved by computer for reference whenever needed.
How will this process benefit my company?
You will be able to find any document, with ease, from the
PC on your desk.
Information stored on each CD-ROM saves the space occupied
by several filing cabinets.

At the time of writing, a 120GB hard drive can be brought
for under £150. This will store 4.3 million pages of
information – that’s 343 filing cabinets on one
computer – all accessible in under a second.
It will prevent loss and misfiling of documents, and eliminates
any need for off-site storage.
Your documents will be automatically backed up by virtue of
us supplying two copies of every CD-ROM written. Storing one
of these copies off-site will satisfy archive disaster recovery
needs, as your entire filing system can be recreated in minutes
in the case of an emergency.
Digital document storage provides multi-level indexing of
data, for easy, secure retrieval of documents, and networking
of the file base.
Is it expensive to start up?
No, because there is no need to invest in special equipment
– you only need a computer.
Is it difficult to use?
No, we have designed it with the user in mind. Even if you
have very limited computer experience, you will still find
it easy and straight forward to use.
Our digital bureau service ensures there is no extra work
for your staff – we do it all for you.
What can be scanned?
Anything. If it is on paper, we can
scan it. We can scan documents from the size of a bus ticket
to 36" in width.
